My first visit with friends after work, and I was blown away with the service, value, quality of food, and a great atmosphere. This place was packed on a Thursday night, and I can see why. 12.95 for a two course meal is fantastic, served with a choice of good value extras, and cool Peronni on draught. I would highly recommend this place, and I shall be returning soon.

Incredibly welcoming. One of the kids twisted my arm into going for an Italian on night after school. I’d heard good things about Sambuca from my family and looked forward to the visit. The food was very nice, we both had a great time but the thing that made the whole experience worth the review was the wholesome and genuinely warm atmosphere. The dude running the restaurant was really friendly and welcoming. There were happy family scenes all across the place and it really felt like something from a movie.
Found ourselves in Shipley for the evening. Not local (we live 100 miles away) - and once we'd been in we wish we were local! Amazing experience, best restaurant experience I've had for ages. Fantastic value. Great service. Great banter from the waiting staff too. No wonder it was packed. Hoping to find ourselves in Shipley again some time soon!!

Update: Visited here again recently and it was just as good as the previous visit. Great early bird offer with great value! Excellent find. The food is amazing and the staff are nice and friendly. Very well priced for today's cost of living. I had the Sambuca Special Pizza and it was one of the best I've had, even the mixed salad was on another level. Cannot recommend this place enough!
What a gem! Came this evening for my fiances birthday with family and we all loved every second! Lovely cosy atmosphere, really friendly tentative staff and 12.95 per person for a starter and main - who can complain about that! The pizzas were spot on and the chips...delicious!!! Drinks are really reasonably priced too - 2 for 12 cocktails which we of course took advantage of! Complimentary shots at the end of the meal just topped off what was already a brilliant experience! Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to visit again! Perfect for couples and families!
This is the BEST VALUE FOR MONEY RESTAURANT I have EVER been too. Food was very good, service was excellent (led by the owner who was so welcoming) and the atmosphere was superb. Had to think twice about posting this review as I don't want the place to get booked up more than it already is.
